Runny nose

In the case of runny nose, we usually deal with two diagnoses: rhinitis or sinusitis. Both cases are swelling and inflammation of the mucosa. In the case of rhinitis, the nasal mucous becomes inflamed, and in sinusitis – the sinuation of the sinuses is swollen and inflamed.

The discoveries of the biologists suggest that swelling and inflammation of the mucosa is a restorative phase after the resolution of the contact conflict. By contact conflicts, we mean either a very desirable contact that we have been deprived of, or vice versa undesirable, from which we want to get rid of. At the same time we want or do not want to contact not only people, but also with favorable or vice versa unpleasant situations. In the case of the nose, the content of the conflict is fleshed out.

The function of the nose – sniffing, recognizing the smell. In a literal and figurative sense, to navigate whether the danger is coming. Therefore, when experiencing an undesirable, dangerous situation near us, the nasal mucosa or sinuses will be ulcerated. Thin out to help a person navigate faster, not to miss an important, better to sniff out what's going on. Either our nose already feels something nearby that he does not like and wants to get rid of it. And now, when the conflict is somehow resolved, the recovery phase will begin. The nasal tissue will have to return to its usual thickness and the body will do so with the help of bacteria and viruses. Hence the swelling and inflammation that we used to consider a disease caused by a drop in temperature outside the window, contagious friend at yesterday's party, a large crowd of people in the office and so on.

If a runny nose occurs in you often or the nose is laid for a long time and does not pass, come to understand what kind of unpleasant situations all the time pop up in your life? What danger do you expect? What don't you want to deal with? What exactly do you not realize and in this regard do not decide? What is the problem that your body solves instead of your psyche?
